Marada pictures is a production and finance company founded by Sarah Lazow. Specializing in film, television, and documentary production, Marada Pictures strives to produce artistically-driven content with international appeal. Current projects include “The Weekend”, directed by Stella Meghie and starring Sasheer Zamata (SNL), DeWanda Wise (She’s Gotta Have It), and Y’Lan Noel (Insecure), which debuted at the 2018 Toronto International Film Festival, and the Netflix Original series “V-Wars”, starring Ian Somerholder (The Vampire Diaries).
